Global Premiere | YTP-F8 Roll-fed Smart Integrated Folding Carton Line Debuts at All in Print China

2026/10/07 200

Addressing core industry pain points—complex converting workflows, high-mix low-volume orders, and heavy material waste during multi-machine transfers— Label Source Machinery officially introduces the F8 High-Capacity Roll-fed Smart Folding Carton Production Line.

Built on a single-channel integrated architecture, the F8 consolidates the complete converting process, enabling true one-stop processing from raw web input to finished carton blanks.

The line will make its official debut at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre in Hall N1, Booth N1A135 / N1A139, featuring a 525 m² live demonstration booth.

Next-Generation Roll-fed Smart Folding Carton Solution

Utilizing a continuous web processing model, the F8 integrates printing, foil stamping, die-cutting, waste stripping, and stacking into a single continuous line. By eliminating repeated handling, frequent job setups, and semi-finished inventory storage between multiple standalone machines, it helps carton manufacturers shorten production cycles and enhance responsiveness for multi-SKU orders.

Core Technical Highlights

  • Continuous High-Efficiency Unwinding & Substrate Adaptability:Equipped with a 1400 mm large-diameter servo unwind system and hydraulic lifting structure to reduce roll-change frequency and ensure continuous operation. Compatible with substrates from 0.02 to 0.5 mm in thickness—including metallic cardstock, films, aluminum foil, and specialty papers—meeting diverse packaging material requirements.
  • Closed-Loop Register Control & Web Pre-treatment:Standardized across the line are high-precision dynamic web guiding, ultrasonic dust removal, and corona treatment units. These systems eliminate static charge and particulate contamination, boost ink adhesion, minimize start-up waste, and maintain exceptional registration stability under high-speed running conditions. An integrated turn-bar enables duplex printing, while rail-mounted shift cold foil and positioning foil modules offer flexible positioning for complex process configurations.
  • Modular Flexo Printing Units:Driven by shaftless dual-servo motors, supporting automatic pre-registration and re-tracking print cycles. The petal-style plate cylinder structure allows fast plate swaps, paired with UV curing and water-cooled chill rollers to maintain stable printing temperatures. Fully automatic visual cameras and mark sensors provide continuous, closed-loop automatic alignment.
  • High-Speed Inline Converting & Stripping:The rear end integrates flatbed die-cutting and embossing with up to 200 tons of cutting pressure and speeds up to 8,000 cycles per hour. Supporting quick die changeovers, the system completes die-cutting, waste stripping, and discharge simultaneously, automatically stacking finished blanks in a seamless continuous pass.

Optional Upgrade Modules

Built on a modular, expandable architecture, the F8 offers optional upgrade modules tailored to specific production requirements:

  • Automatic Splicing & Non-stop Roll Changing:Enables uninterrupted continuous production.
  • Inline Digital Printing Unit:Supports variable data printing and personalized artwork.
  • Rotary Die-cutting & Waste Stripping Unit:Expands die-cutting options for complex converting requirements.
  • Automatic Stacking System:Automates blank collection to minimize manual labor.

One Machine to Redefining Carton Manufacturing

The core advantage of the F8 lies in its single-channel integrated processing and comprehensive inline capabilities. A single web pass yields finished carton blanks directly, eliminating transfer wait times and intermediate storage between standalone equipment.

It delivers significant savings in labor, floor space, and material costs while accommodating both high-volume runs and multi-SKU short orders, perfectly suited for premium customized packaging in food, daily chemicals, and pharmaceuticals.
